-Spartakist uprising: started by Karl Liebknecht and Rosa Luxemburg started the German Communist party that tried to take over Berlin in January 1919. They were stopped with force by the Freikorps who were an unofficial right wing military force.
-The Kapp Putsch: Freikorps are asked to disband (they don't). Leader Wolfgang Kapp marched on Berlin in 1920. German workers stop this by a general strike.
